SURROGATES IN THEATERS SEPTEMBER 25
Plot:
People are living their lives remotely from the safety of their own homes via robotic surrogates -- sexy, physically perfect mechanical representations of themselves. It's an ideal world where crime, pain, fear and consequences don't exist. When the first murder in years jolts this utopia, FBI agent Greer (Willis) discovers a vast conspiracy behind the surrogate phenomenon and must abandon his own surrogate, risking his life to unravel the mystery. --Via www.imdb.com
I guess if you liked the Matrix, Equilibrium, Minority Report, The 13th Floor, Vanilla Sky or even Arnie's Total Recall and Sly's Demoliltion Man :) this one is for you. It's the standard scenario that's set in the future where humanity is dumb and dependent on machines, the social system seems flawless but suddenly something goes wrong. I believe Bruce Willis was magnificent in Twelve Monkeys (sci-fi) and the Die Hard series (action) so I might be watching this.
