CHAMPIONS LEAGUE PREDICTOR : WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Chelsea vs Juventus
Chelsea are going to pick up were they left against Aston Villa last week. Hiddink has the magic touch and Anelka cannot stop scoring. Even Drogba is making an effort to impress the new manager and can also fluke a goal. Juventus are second in Serie A but not so convincing. We saw last night the superiority of the premiership in the games involving Arsenal and Man UTD and I cannot see Chelsea missing the chance to take the advantage of a victory to the second leg.

Villareal vs Panathinaikos
Panathinaikos are well known for their luck and the way things work out for them. I predict a dull game, lots of defending from Panathinaikos and a Villareal side that luck that extra something to break the Greek side down. Expect Karagounis to play a crucial role with his dives and timewasting.

Sporting vs B. Munchen
This is a tough one. Sporting never beat a german team in 14 occasions and Bayern lost just once in 20 occasions against portuguese sides. But seeing Bayern being ridiculed in the German league the pressure is on them to deliver. They were extremely lucky in the group stages but I can see their luck running out against an ambitious Sporting.

Real Madrid vs Liverpool
Madrid thrashed Real Betis 6-1 in their last game and with Barcelona also dropping points it seems that their spirits are lifted and the team is generally on form. Raul's goals were both sublime with the captain rolling back the years and showing why he is a legend. Liverpool could not beat Man City inside Anfield so why should they do something better against the Queen of Europe? Stevie G is a doubt. An embarrassing defeat should get Rafa sacked.
