RVP signs for Man Utd, Arsenal fans are not happy

Robin Van Persie is widely expected to complete his move to Old Trafford after Man Utd and Arsenal agreed a transfer in the range of 30m euros. Van Persie, 29,who only had one year left on his current contract at Arsenal had made his intentions clear about leaving the club next summer in his quest for trophies (and more money).

Arsene Wenger stated that although he was unhappy to see his last season's top scorer leave, he was left with no options but to sell the wantaway striker.  Undoubtedly, this will impact both clubs ahead of the new season, as the x-Arsenal skipper is a world class player. Man Utd fans are already drooling in the prospect of watching Van Persie alongside Rooney upfront next year, while unhappy Arsenal fans are protesting for Van Persie's lack of loyalty by burning their Arsenal shirts with his name and number for completing the move to their arch rivals.

What remains to be seen now, is whether the injury prone Van Persie will succeed in establishing himself in United's first 11 and who got the best deal, SAF with the captur of Van Persie or Arsene Wenger with the 30m?
