Quentin Tarantino gives us a personal top 20 movie list since he started directing himself. It's got a few strange choices but you get an idea of the impact those movies made on his directing style.
He talks about the Matrix and how 2&3 ruined the whole thing which I absolutely 100% agree.
He also includes "Dazed and Confused", "Friday" , "Fight Club" and "Shaun of the Dead" there so he's our kind of guy. Watch the video for the rest and hear it from the master.
