TEAM NEWS

Barcelona

Toure Yaya and Aliaksandr Hleb were given the green light to play in the game and have been included in the squad. Guardiola is reported to be set to name what he considers to be his strongest team available rather than consider the carefully planned rotations that he has implemented for the majority of the campaign so far. Eric Abidal and Gaby Milito are still sidelined, but Andres Iniesta and Carles Puyol have shaken off recent knocks to be ready, both having made their comebacks at the weekend.

Probable Starting XI: Valdes, Alves, Pique, Marquez, Puyol, Xavi, Toure, Iniesta, Messi, Eto'o, Henry

Bayern Munich

The visitors are without the duo of Lucio and Daniel van Buyten at the back with the Brazilian being injured and the Dutchman having lost his father recently, but Klinsmann does have Martin Demechelis available to help boost his options. The coach is also not short of choices up front even though Miroslav Klose has been out of action since the middle of last month with an ankle injury. Tim Borowski and Luca Toni were all given the green light last week after recovering from knocks, while Ribery is expected to start having shaken off his three week lay off.

Probable Starting XI: Rensing; Oddo, Demichelis, Breno, Lahm; Schweinsteiger, Van Bommel, Ze Roberto, Ribery; Toni, Podolski
