PES 2010 : FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I just downloaded the PES 2010 demo and had a few games.

There are 6 teams in the demo.
Club Teams : Barcelona, Liverpool
National Teams: Germany, Italy, Spain and France

Graphics:
The pitch looks amazing. You can make out the different patches and shades of green.
The player faces look more realistic. Also the movement feels more natural on goal celebrations.
There are 2 stadiums. Liverpool's Anfield and the fictional Ville Marie stadium. People on the stands are decent looking. Previous PES versions suffered from lag when the ball was close to the spectators but now this seems solved.

Speed:
There were rumors of the game being slower but I can assure you that it felt even quicker. The ball runs downs the pitch smoothly and the players are racing up and down not looking heavy.

Scoring:
I didn't find scoring being that hard . It's your usual one-on-one situation where you have to beat the keeper. So shooting at the right time did the trick. There was however a slight pause when you pulled the trigger to shoot and the ball was flying towards goal immediately afterwords. But this being the demo I understand it is going to be fixed.

Gameplay:
This is no PES2009. So it's gonna take a while for everything to "click" and enjoy the game. The five-minute gameplay of the Demo does not help at all.

Tactics:
The layout is different and there are more things to tweak. I didn't bother changing anything though so I can't comment on this one.

Tricks:

These are the new tricks available. I couldn't do the "forward tap" where you push the ball by pressing -> twice. Instead the player steps on the ball and does a little trick.

Overall:
I was impressed by the new looks. I am not so sure that the king is back gameplay-wise. At times it feels arcadey. Anyway the demo was too short for me to have a clear view and I need someone to play against with.

I LIKE PHOTOSHOP

After mastering resizing, different layers and transparent features I finally managed to create 2 decent pictures that you can apply on your AEL and Apollon jerseys on PES2009.
Note that these are not the final products as the new AEL shirts are not unveiled yet.

OPTION FILE IN THE MAKING

I am desperately in need of good stats for AEL and Apollon F.C. in order to create them on PES2009 for PS3.

There is a patch of the Cypriot League but only for the PC. I need an option file not a patch.

Anyone got the Cypriot League on FM09? I could convert the stats and create the players.

The gameplay looks very realistic. Look at Iniesta's skin color!!

It seems that there is a lot of improvement on faces.

PES2009 CHANT PACK

After some research I found what is called the best PES2009 chant pack out there.

Credit goes to some legend called Klurosu for making it.

Click the links below to download

Part1

Part2

Installation:

1. Unrar and Copy MUSIC folder to flash drive.
2. Go to music on PS3 and select USB device.
3. Copy all chants over.
4. Create a playlist entitled KONAMI_PES with CAPITAL letters. NOTE: Watch the spaces because the PS3 adds a space after the word "KONAMI_PES". So delete that space.
5. Add all chants to playlist.
6. Enter game, go to edit mode, edit team and cheering stance. You should find your chants there. Choose one for the respective team.

Von Option File for PlayStation 3

This is the latest PES2009 patch:
-All English and international transfers 100% complete
-All correct player names (including a lot of player name/back of shirt name fixes)
-All Prem and La Liga badges and kits (Including home, away, goalkeeper, name and number markings)
-Added missing players
-Added Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen, Bayer Leverkusen and Schalke 04
-All national team kits done with badges, kit sponsers and name and number markings
-All correct Prem, Ligue One, Serie A, La Liga and some other (Zenit, Sporting, Benfica, Ajax, PSV, Fenerbahce and more) player numbers
-All League and Stadium names corrected (Note: For the 'fake' stadiums, I renamed them after stadiums they resemble. Also, Master League's league names have been changed to England League, La Liga, Serie A and UEFA European Superliga. This is down to how I play my Master League. Remember to change those league names to suit how you set up your Master League)
-Fake/duplicate national team players removed
-Hundreds of appearance (builds and scans) accessory/boots/hairstyle changes
-Full Prem, Old Firm and England national team chants
-V1.30 compatible

Instructions:

1. Unzip file using Winzip or Winrar
2. Copy 'PS3' folder to your flashdrive
3. Insert flashdrive into PS3. Go to 'Saved Data Utility'. Now click 'USB Device'
4. Copy ALL files from flash drive to PS3

For chants:

1. Copy MUSIC folder to flash drive.
2. Go to music on PS3 and select USB device
3. Copy all chants over
4. Create a playlist entitled KONAMI_PES
5. Add all chants to playlist
6. Enter game, go to edit mode, edit team and cheering stance. You should find your chants here

DOWNLOAD FILE FROM:
http://rapidshare.com/files/201765201/Von_Option_File_2.01.rar

NOTE 1. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT NOTE OF ALL: IF YOU ARE PROMPTED WITH THE MESSAGE 'LOAD DATA FROM A DIFFERENT VERSION', YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE KONAMI 1.30 UPDATE. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE UPDATE AND ARE STILL PROMPTED, GO TO SETTINGS (IN-GAME) AND CLICK 'DOWNLOAD')

NOTE 2: If you are prompted to save the option file just as the game loads up, click no. Then go into edit mode and load the data. THEN save the data right after. If you already clicked yes and saved at the start when prompted, you will have to copy the 'edit data' file from your flash drive again
